Read CH1, Highlight the chemical elements he discusses and answer the following questions:
1) Name at least three of the elements (not Tungsten) that Sachs describes and write the characteristics that he highlights. Be prepared to explain why you choose these elements.
2) Who has Uncle Tungsten and why was he important to Oliver Sachs?
3) Give the chemical symbol for Tungsten. What does Sachs say about Tungsten? Look it up on the internet and provide three additional facts about Tungsten.

Read CH3, highlight any chemical elements discussed and answer the following questions:
1) This chapter describes his interest in numbers. Provide a rationale for why he was drawn to numbers.
2) He talks about the Fibonacci sequence. Who was Fibonacci and why is this sequence of numbers important?
